Find Your Fit

Nail Sizing Guide

Getting the right size makes all the difference. Follow the steps below to find your perfect fit before you order.

How to Measure Your Nails

For the best fit, measure the width of each nail bed at its widest point. You'll need a soft measuring tape or a strip of paper and a ruler.

1

Prep your nails

Start with clean, dry nails. Remove any polish or oils so your measurement is as accurate as possible.

2

Measure the width

Place a soft tape measure (or a thin strip of paper) across the widest part of your nail bed โ€” from one side edge to the other. Do not measure the nail tip, measure the base of the nail.

3

Record all 10 nails

Measure every finger โ€” nails are rarely identical across both hands. Record each measurement in millimetres.

4

Match to the chart below

Find the size that is closest to or slightly larger than your measured width. A nail that is slightly too big can be filed down; one that is too small will not sit flat and may lift.

Size Chart

Match your nail width (mm) to the size number below. When in doubt, size up โ€” press-on nails can be gently filed to fit.

Size Nail Width Typically Fits
0 18 โ€“ 19 mm Thumb (wide)
1 17 โ€“ 18 mm Thumb (medium)
2 16 โ€“ 17 mm Thumb (narrow) / Index (wide)
3 15 โ€“ 16 mm Index finger
4 14 โ€“ 15 mm Index / Middle finger
5 13 โ€“ 14 mm Middle finger
6 12 โ€“ 13 mm Middle / Ring finger
7 11 โ€“ 12 mm Ring finger
8 10 โ€“ 11 mm Ring / Pinky finger
9 9 โ€“ 10 mm Pinky finger

Fit Tips

Size up, not down

If you're between two sizes, always choose the larger one. A nail that's slightly wide can be filed; a nail that's too narrow will pop off faster and may cause discomfort.

Measure before ordering

Nail sizes vary more than most people expect, even between your left and right hand. Taking 5 minutes to measure each finger will save you from ordering the wrong fit.

Custom filing

Use a fine nail file to gently reduce the width of a slightly oversized nail. Work from the edges inward in small strokes and test against your nail bed as you go.

Cuticle coverage matters

The nail should sit flush with โ€” but not on top of โ€” your cuticle. If the press-on is touching your cuticle, try the next size down or gently push it back before application.
